Summary of Job Duties:* Researching: the needs of the grant/project
potential grant offerings that may be pursued
* Assisting with proposals:
by writing them or gathering required documentation.
o by discuss opportunities and share requirements for completion
o formatting requirements and components like budgets, schedules and project descriptions.
* Networking with others:
o Project manager will network with other professionals, both at their university or organizations and professional meetings. At their university, they will connect with other grant offices to see how they may share resources or achieve goals for grant projects.
o They might also attend grant information sessions provided by state or federal organizations.
o Managing relationships with students to ensure that their needs are met.
* Managing reports
o Assist with submitting final invoices and other documentation to show where they've spent the grant money.
o Manage budgets for projects based on projected costs and revenues, then monitoring spending throughout the life of the project.
o Preparing reports summarizing grant activities, including expenditures and outcomes.
o Monitoring compliance with federal regulations regarding the use of grant funds.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Working in an organization or program to optimize processes and ensure budgets are used effectively.
* Providing internal support for programs that want to increase efficiency, productivity, or profitability.
* Conducting research through surveys and employee interviews, and reviewing processes, budgets, and other information.
* Analyzing data and processes to look for and better understand problems.
* Working with programs as they implement, refine, review, and modify processes and systems.
* Establishing and enforcing budgets and timelines.
* Ensuring that all initiatives align with the mission and goals.
* Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
* Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
* Ensuring project deadlines are met.
* Determining project changes.
* Providing administrative support as needed.
* Undertaking project tasks as required.
* Developing project strategies.
* Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
* Assessing project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
* Facilitating meetings where appropriate and distributing minutes to all project team members.Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in education, business, communication, or a related field.

* At least three years of experience as a project manager, project coordinator, or similar leadership position.

* Strong research, math, and computer skills.

* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

* Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

* Ability to analyze processes and data.

* Good understanding of budgeting principles

* Strong leadership abilities.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
